There wasn’t a mobile phone or laptop to be seen, as the teams from ARB Coopers Plains and ARB Springwood were joined by friends and offroad enthusiasts for our second ‘Weekend without Wifi” at Landcruiser Mountain Park.

The swags, camper trailers and caravans made themselves at home along the ridge of the exclusive Billabong campsite, soaking up the sun and enjoying the best that South East Queensland has to offer in Spring. While many chose to deflate their tyres and lock it in low range for one of Lucas’ legendary 4×4 park experiences, others took the opportunity to relax with a book, play some cards or hunt for blue claw in the dam with the kids. It was a weekend where you could set your own pace and jam as much or as little into the day as you desired.

As the sun set each evening, the central campfire came to life providing the perfect stage to swap stories of the days adventures over a few drinks and also the opportunity to share their own four wheel driving experiences on exciting destinations, camping set ups or the latest equipement bolted onto their 4×4’s. On Saturday night there were fun and games for the all the kids, big and small! A wide range of lucky door prizes were drawn while Alben, Helen and the crew from Landcruiser Mountain Park put the finishing touches on one of their famous camp oven feasts.
Mark and Fiona would to take this opportunity to thanks our hosts Alben and Helen from Landcruiser Mountain Park and we couldn’t have done it without our enthusiastic team, family and friends who worked tirelessly all weekend to ensure everything went off without a hitch.
And as we find our way back into the working week, we are counting down the days until the next ‘Weekend Without Wifi’.
